2. General information on data processing

We generally only process our users' personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. Personal data is regularly processed only with the user's consent or on the basis of a statutory permission (Art. 6 (1) GDPR).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA ("Vercel"). Vercel operates a globally distributed content delivery network (CDN) through which the content of this website is delivered.

In doing so, Vercel collects technical access data in so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, file accessed, browser type, referrer URL). Processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in a technically error-free, fast and secure provision of this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

As Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, personal data (in particular the IP address) may be transferred to a third country outside the EU/EEA. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Vercel on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) in order to ensure an adequate level of data protection. 4. Contact form

When you send us a message via the contact form on this website, the data you provide (name, email address, message) is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual enquiry) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

The contact form is technically handled via the third-party provider FormSubmit, which forwards the entered data to us by email. You can find more information on how FormSubmit handles data in its privacy policy: formsubmit.co/privacy-policy.

The data transmitted via the form is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been finally resolved and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)

On this website we link to external platforms on which our content is available (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok). When you click on one of these links, you leave our website. The respective operators are solely responsible for data processing on their platforms. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective providers for information on how they handle your data.

The preview of the latest videos embedded on this page (title, description, thumbnail) is loaded technically via the public RSS feed of our YouTube channel and a conversion service (rss2json.com). In the process, your IP address may be transmitted to the servers of this service and to the servers of YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). No videos are embedded themselves (no iframe embed) – the preview cards merely link to YouTube.

6. Advertising & affiliate links

Individual videos and the offers linked within them may contain advertising or affiliate links. A commission may be earned via such a link, at no additional cost to you. The respective operators are solely responsible for data processing on the linked third-party sites.

7. Cookies

This website does not use any tracking or marketing cookies.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, as well as, where applicable, a right to rectification, blocking or deletion of this data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
