Overview: My wealth in August 2026
As of 31 August 2026, there is €479,563 in the portfolio. That's growth of €24,098 on the previous month – so +5.29% in a single month.
Here's how my wealth has developed in comparison:
| Growth since | Value in € | Growth in € | Growth in % |
|---|---|---|---|
| 31 Dec 2025 | €308,259 | +€171,304 | +55.57% |
| 31 Jul 2026 | €455,465 | +€24,098 | +5.29% |
That means I've grown by 55.57% since the start of the year, which is really enormous. But an honest note matters to me: the bulk of this growth doesn't come from pure returns, but from my income, which I continuously invest in stocks, real estate and the like. I'm self-employed, have several companies and am currently ramping up my income strongly month by month – hence the strong growth.
My wealth is currently split across eight asset categories. We'll work our way from the smallest to the largest position and look at the overall distribution again at the end. Here's how it looks (from large to small):
- Stocks – €264,564
- P2P loans – €105,479
- Real estate (my equity share) – €63,504
- Crypto – €25,217
- Occupational pension (bAV) – €10,500
- Real assets – €5,007
- Cash – €3,615
- Private Markets – €1,678
Let's go through the individual positions one by one.
No. 8: Private Markets
In last place are my private-markets investments at €1,678, so around 0.3% of my total net worth. Really not a large sum. I do it simply because I find the topic of diversification interesting and want to see how this asset class develops. I'll build the position up a little more – but it will always remain just a small diversification block.

No. 7: Cash
In 7th place is my cash at €3,615 (around 0.8%). So you can see: the bulk of my wealth is invested. This is really just the money I keep in my current account for day-to-day business. The rest is in stocks and the like.
No. 6: Real assets via Timeless
In 6th place are my real assets at €5,007 (around 1%). I don't have sneakers or luxury watches sitting at home for this – I invest entirely via the Timeless app* in real assets like sneakers, luxury watches, wine and trading cards. I also had my first exits there a few weeks ago – there's a separate video on that.
The appeal: Timeless takes care of storage, insurance and the rest, so I do it completely passively. A small but interesting building block detached from the stock market – I added a little here this month.
No. 5: Occupational pension for the self-employed
In 5th place comes my occupational pension (bAV) at €10,500 (around 2.2%). As a self-employed person, I'm not in the statutory pension scheme – I could join voluntarily, but I don't. Instead, I provide for retirement via stocks, ETFs and real estate, but I also want a bAV for diversification.
My company pays in around €650 a month for this. During the saving phase, the whole thing is completely free of social security contributions and taxes – it's only taxed later on payout at an older age. I deliberately calculate conservatively with just €500 per month.
No. 4: Cryptocurrencies – Bitcoin in focus
In 4th place are my cryptocurrencies – actually almost only Bitcoin. As of 31 August, that was around €25,085 in Bitcoin and €132 in a leftover Solana position, so €25,217 in total, or around 5% of the portfolio.
Solana is just a small leftover position that I'll offload as soon as it's back in the green. Bitcoin got a decent boost in August – there are several thousand euros of profit in there, unrealised of course. I hold Bitcoin long-term and buy more each month, which I did strongly recently. Long-term I can well imagine an allocation of around 10% here – either through further buying or simply because Bitcoin does well.
No. 3: Real estate as an investment
In 3rd place is my real estate with a portfolio value of €63,504 (around 13.2%). I physically invest myself in a total of three properties in Germany, all in the area around Münster and Osnabrück.
Important to understand: I don't enter the full market value into the portfolio, but the estimated value minus the remaining debt – multiplied by my actual ownership share.
- Property 1: estimated value €135,000, remaining loan €111,378, I own it 100% → portfolio value: €23,622
- Property 2: estimated value €326,000, remaining loan €262,660, I own half → portfolio value: €31,670
- Property 3: estimated value €194,000, two remaining loans (€147,165 + €30,412), I own half → portfolio value: €8,212
Together that makes the €63,504. If you'd like to see more real estate content – for example an apartment I'm currently renovating, or an example calculation on profitability and financing – let me know in the comments.
No. 2: P2P loans with stable cash flow
In 2nd place there's a decent jump: my P2P loans at €105,479, or 22% of my total net worth. With that, I cracked the €100,000 mark in August – which was exactly my goal.
Now I'll fund other building blocks much more strongly: stocks, real estate, crypto. P2P will probably keep growing in absolute terms, but shrink in percentage – long-term I'm aiming for more like 10% here. I hold P2P as a diversification block for cash flow, and it fits well into my strategy of dividends, rental income and P2P interest. It currently brings in around €800 to €900 per month in interest.
I'm invested across more than 20 platforms. The five largest are currently Mintos*, Bondora Go & Grow*, Debitum*, Lande* and Indemo*. A detailed, separate P2P update with all platforms follows in the next few days. You can view my full P2P portfolio live at any time: Look inside the P2P portfolio.
No. 1: My stock portfolio
The undisputed leader remains my stock portfolio: €264,564, and thus 55.2% of my total net worth. With individual stocks I follow a clear dividend strategy – I like passive income without having to sell anything for it. That's also reflected in the holdings.
The largest positions currently:
- Microsoft – almost €20,000
- McDonald's – around €17,000
- Visa – around €16,000
- Munich Re – around €15,000
- Procter & Gamble – around €14,000
Plus a number of other positions. There's a detailed update on my dividend portfolio coming in the next few days, where I go specifically into the individual positions and my dividends.

Summary: My wealth distribution
So in total there is €479,563 in the portfolio. Here it is again compactly, from small to large:
| Rank | Asset class | Value in € | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | Private Markets | €1,678 | 0.3% |
| 7 | Cash | €3,615 | 0.8% |
| 6 | Real assets (Timeless) | €5,007 | 1.0% |
| 5 | Occupational pension | €10,500 | 2.2% |
| 4 | Crypto | €25,217 | 5% |
| 3 | Real estate | €63,504 | 13.2% |
| 2 | P2P loans | €105,479 | 22% |
| 1 | Individual stocks | €264,564 | 55.2% |
Conclusion
August was a strong month: +5.29% on the previous month, a boost for Bitcoin and cracking the €100,000 mark in P2P. Since the start of the year, I'm up 55.57%. From now on my focus shifts – away from further P2P build-up, towards more stocks, real estate and crypto.
Now I'm curious: how do you actually invest? Do you rely on several categories, do you have, say, precious metals in your portfolio, which I'm completely missing so far? And what did you buy most recently? Let me know in the comments – I really enjoy exchanging ideas with you about your strategies.
